I didn't find this work because I was looking for it. I found it because I needed it.

In my twenties I had a stroke. I went through the medical side of things, did a year of CBT, got the panic disorder diagnosis. Talk therapy helped, but it only went so far. There was still something happening in my body that thinking about it couldn't reach.
So I started doing things with my body instead. Meditation, progressive relaxation, yoga. I got curious about how the gut affected everything, trained as a health coach, got my meditation certification. I kept noticing that the more I learned to listen to what my body was actually telling me, instead of overriding it or analyzing it, the more things shifted.
It was gradual. And it changed everything.
That's what I want for the women I work with. Not another framework to think about. A way back into their own body — and the wisdom that's already there.

Currently completing psychotherapy training with a focus on somatic and body-based modalities.

Trained in somatic healing and nervous system regulation using trauma-informed, body-based approaches.

Background in meditation instruction and mindfulness-based practices, adapted for nervous systems that don't respond to standard approaches.
